Full Description

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Murray Archaeology Services prior to a housing development at Essie Road, Rhynie in October 2007, due to the sites proximity to crop marks of prehisotirc date. In the areas evaluated there was no evidence of activity dated earlier than the 19th century. A number of animal bones, pottery and glass were recovered all of late date.
