Full Description
Site of a limekiln depicted on the OS 1st edition map. The structure is shown on the 1888 2nd edition map, not denoted as a limekiln. Site visit by Mott Macdonald in 2022 during walkover survey ahead of electricity cabling works (NJ40SE0197) found no visible remains. The area contains a large concentration of large stones and overgrown waste piles from clearance work on the track.
