Full Description
A souterrain found on Strathmore Farm. It was 18.20 m long and sloped from the entrance in the south where it was 0.61 m wide, to a depth of 1.52 m, where it curved to circa 1.82 m broad. Many of its stones were used in the construction of fences and drains but enough remained in 1875 for Jervise to remark that it showed a strong resemblance to the earth houses at Migvie and Culsh. OS site visit 1968 found no trace and no information at Strathmore.
