Full Description
Supposed site of a stone circle. Before construction of buildings (farmstead of Bottomend) circa 1847, there stood three or four upright stones believed to be part of a stone circle. While digging the foundation trenches of the farmstead , human bones, ashes and burnt clay was found. OS site visit in 1968 noted that the area was then cultivated with no trace or local knowledge of stone circle.
