Full Description
A desk-based assessment and archaeological walkover survey was carried out by AOC in 2021 ahead of a proposed windfarm development. This recorded various new features: NJ33SE0100 (structure), NJ33SE0101 (grouse butts), NJ33SE0102 (commemorative cairn), NJ33SE0103 (cairn), NJ33SE0104 (cairn), NJ33SE0105 (cairn), NJ33SE0106 (grouse butts), possible cairn within NJ33SE0005. Survey was not possible in areas of dense conifer plantations. The development site is in part in Aberdeenshire - see Aberdeenshire HER NJ33NE0048.
