Full Description
Site of Malcolm's Camp, traditionally the site of his camp before the Battle of Mortlach (NJ33NW0025). OS (1967) noted that the tradition was still known locally. RCAHMS site visit 1943 observed no trace of the camp as marked on the historic OS maps, but recorded a slightly raised stony patch (possibly the foundation of a cairn) on the low shoulder that descends to the south corner of the field.
