Full Description
Site of Bishop's Palace, noted in the Old Statistical Account (1796) as 'the overgrown foundations of a house, reputed to have been the Bishop's Palace, not an Episcopal palace'. No trace found in 1896 though tradition survived. No further information on the name and site could not be verified locally.
