Full Description
A desk-based assessment and archaeological walkover survey was carried out in 2021 by AOC ahead of a proposed windfarm development. Various features were recorded: NJ33NE0049 (platform), NJ43NW0156 (possible chambered cairn), NJ43NW0146 (possible structure and possible denuded cairn), NJ33NE0050 (grouse butts), NJ33NE0051 (grouse butts). Majority of the development area is within Moray - Moray HER NJ33SE0099. Dense tree cover in the northeastern part of the development site precluded archaeological survey , but report recommended further walkover following tree felling and in advance of construction.
