Full Description
A limekiln is depicted at this location on the OS map of 1867 as lying on the west side of the mill pond feeding the mill at Newe. It is not depicted on the later OS map of 1888. It is unknown if anything survives or if it was destroyed by possible road widening. No trace was found during site visit as part of a survey of limekilns of upper Donside.
