Full Description
Site of a kitchen midden comprising the remains of shell fish, animal bones and medieval pottery found in an area which was much disturbed. Although it is reported that a section was revealed by lead-mine blasting, it cannot be certain that the lead mine shaft published on OS 25-inch 1870 map was the only one in this much disturbed area, and consequently the siting of the shell heaps cannot be more accurately determined.
