Full Description
Trial trenching was carried out by SUAT in 1987 in advance of the construction of the St Giles Centre (see NJ26SW0060). A few sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the garden soil. Natural sand was encountered circa 0.61 m below modern ground level and no archaeological features were observed.
