Full Description
Trial trenching was carried out in 1976 at two locations in advance of the new relief road. located natural levels at circa 0.6m below the modern ground level. That at NJ21376295 recorded rubble and garden soil, that at NJ21406288 only natural sand. No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded.
