Full Description
Site of military defensive trenches observed in 2014 on an aerial photograph taken in 1943. This shows zig-zag trench along two sides of the present playing field, with rows of military trucks parked to the south. The site may have been used by the Home Guard. Ground investigations in August 2014 found no evidence of remaining ordnance.
