Full Description

A watching brief was carried out by Alba Archaeology (Highland) Ltd over the excavation of eight trial pits for the Elgin Flood Alleviation Scheme. In ED2 TP23, building rubble was observed as well as a possible buried wall of square stone blocks (from 0.8-1.4m below ground surface). No other finds or features of archaeological significance were observed.
