Full Description

Ground investigations was carried out in 2007 as part of the Elgin Flood Alleviation Scheme. In total, 17 trial pits were excavated, under archaeological supervision by Alba Archaeology, but no features or finds of archaeological significance were observed despite the area having been a centre of milling activity since at least the 12th century.
