Full Description
Site of a well. Scheinakis Well is said to have been a healing well and is mentioned in a witch-craft case of 1597 at Elgin Kirk session. OS site visit 1972 noted that there was then no local knowledge. A well is depicted opposite Upper Meft Cottages cottages to the south on the OS 1st edition map although no name is given.
