Full Description

Former church, no longer in ecclesiastical use. Depicted in the 1st edition OS map as a United Presbyterian Church, by the 2nd edition OS map is has been renamed the North United Free Church. It was designed by by A. W. Bissett 1861-2, with alterations by Wilsons and Walker 1907-8 when it was converted to a U. F. Church. Sandstone construction with slated roof. Shallow gabled porch entrance on south elevation, with three-stage tower with angle buttresses topped by an octagonal broach spire. Hall to the rear (north). Two dalle-de-verrer stained glass windows in north elevation by Dom Ninian Sloane of Pluscarden Abbey, 1969. Closed to congregations in 2023.
