Full Description
Cist found 1869 on site of cairn. The cairn material had been removed for building. The cist was half filled with sand in which lay a male skeleton with a flint spearhead. The site could not be located by OS in 1972 at which time the area was densely wooded. There is no trace of the spearhead which was recorded in 1873 as being in Elgin Museum.
