Full Description
A trial trenching evaluation by Wessex Archaeology in March 2018 ahead of taxi extension included two trenches at this location. The excavation showing evidence of the area having been scraped and planed during the development of the airfield in the 1930s. A potential boundary/enclosure ditch was recorded in Trench 1.
