Full Description
Site of Medieval salt pans which lay close to Salterhill but these have been filled in and ploughed over. One of the pans was said to be still visible in 1856, when it was being used as a watering hole for cattle. Nothing apart from a sight hollow was visible in 1962 when the OS visited the site.
