Full Description
Site of chapel, which reputedly stood 274 m (300 yards) south of Inchbroom House (NJ26NE0072). Now no trace now above ground. Also know as 'Our Lady's Chapel of Inch' or 'Chapel of the Isle of Spinet'. It is mentioned in 1522 and 1544. OS site visit in 1972 found no trace of any building here, and OS records that it does not appear to have had a burial ground. Other sources indicate that it had a burial ground. A cropmark at this site taken in 1976 may indicate the location of this chapel site.
