Full Description

A watching brief was carried out by S Farrell in May 2014 during groundworks for a new house. Although in proximity to the findspot of a Neolithic bowl (NJ25NW0041) and within an area of cropmarks (NJ25NW0023) no archaeological features or finds were revealed. The site has formerly been used for sand and gravel extraction, as shown on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps.
