Full Description
Burghead War Memorial, commemorating soldiers who died in World War I and World War II. It is in the form of a tall cylindrical sandstone column with a carved lion at the top, projecting from a rectilinear pedestal on a stepped base. Each face of the base holds a memorial plaque listing names of soldiers from World War I, and memorial plaques listing names of soldiers from World War II rest on each side of the stepped base.
