Full Description

Well. A natural spring in a small circular hollow, which is now piped into a narrow stone-lined trough. There is still a slight flow of water, but the well is overgrown and apparently disused. The well was rediscovered and repaired , including restoration of the water supply, in 2013 and the well officially reopened 11/02/14. The excavation to uncover the well also recovered sherds of medieval pottery, Victorian pottery and various pieces of ironwork.
