Full Description

A watching brief was carried out in October 2012 on topsoil stripping for two single house plots. The west site (NJ149686) was adjacent to a disused limestone quarry and the other (NJ154687) in area containing a number of prehistoric sites including a cairn (NJ16NE0005) to the southeast. No archaeological features were recorded in the stripped areas.
