Full Description
The small hamlet of Littledrainie is depicted on the OS map of 1846 as having seven small buildings and two attached enclosures. By the 1888 edition only two buildings survive. The remains were removed when the Lossiemouth airfield was built in the 1940s. No evidence of settlement was recorded during trial trenching in 2018 (see NJ16NE0113).
