Full Description
A walkover survey was carried out by Liz Jones in June - July 2024 ahead of proposed woodland creation. Some areas were inaccessible at the time of survey. A number of new features were identified: NJ25SW0090, NJ15SE0080, NJ25SW0091, NJ25SW0092, NJ15SE0081, NJ15SE0082, NJ15SE0083, NJ15SE0084, NJ15SE0085, NJ15SE0086, NJ25SW0093, NJ25SW0094. The survey also included previously known sites: NJ25SW0015, NJ15SE0018, NJ15SE0015, NJ15SE0008, NJ15SE0009, NJ15SE0012, NJ15SE0013, NJ15SE0014, NJ15SE0016, NJ15SE0017, NJ15SE0011, NJ15SE0019, NJ15SE0007, NJ15SE0003, NJ15SE0010. Also features not archaeologically significant: drainage channel at NJ 20095 51759 (Site 4), modern trackway at NJ 20349 51583 (Site 18).
