Full Description
Test pits excavated within the car park and verges to the southeast and southwest of the car park, part of a watching brief (NJ06SE0139) carried out by Wessex Archaeology in November 2022 during groundworks associated with construction of new accommodation blocks and a car park at Kinloss Barracks (NJ06SE0030). These areas had considerable disturbance from mapped and unmapped services and the whole area infilled with modern make-up material, with no features, deposits or artefacts of archaeological significance identified.
