Full Description
A desk-based assessment and evaluation were carried out in this area in 2003 by AOC prior to development. During the evaluation, 14 trenches were excavated, revealing various possible prehistoric features. A full excavation of these features was then undertaken. The excavation revealed 2 possible round houses, a rectangular cut and a number of pits distributed across the site. Two possible rubbing stones and a fragment of a possible saddle quern were recovered.
