Full Description
Site of Dovecot. The dovecot was beehive shaped with two flight ledges. It was destroyed during construction of the airfield during World War II. Adjacent to the dovecot were two rectangular buildings that are depicted on the 1846 1st edition OS map. They too were destroyed during the airfield construction.
