Full Description
Human jawbone found on the surface in February 2024. Its original source is unclear, although most likely the chapel of St Ternan (NO99NW0035), which had been stood on the flat area on the top of the cliffs, hhe bone redeposited here as a consequence of ongoing slope collapse. Subsequent site visit found no additional bones.
