Full Description
Polished stone adze, of greenstone. It is flat on one side, convex on the other, the butt end brought to a rounded edge similar to the other. The form is quite unusual in Scotland, being similar to the flint adze from Ferry Brae, Aberdeenshire (Slains Parish) and the polished adze from West Linton, Peebles.
