Full Description
Lithic scatter recorded during fieldwalking in February 2020 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside Project. A total of 90 pieces, all but one of flint, and including 31 flakes, nine blades, four scrapers and seven cores. A quartz crystal flake was also recorded. Other finds comprised two sherds of possible medieval pottery and a little domestic midden material. The assemblage indicates activity in the Mesolithic and Neolithic. A scraper made on a broad flakes dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age.
