Full Description
Lithic scatter recorded by fieldwalking in 2001, 2002 and 2003. A total of 97 lithics have been recovered, including 14 blades and flakes. Also a bead of black glass. The proportion of flakes, and the retouched pieces suggests activity of Neolithic and Bronze Age date. Fieldwalking in January and March 2023 by the Mesolithic Deeside Project recovered a total of 126 lithics including blades, flakes, retouched blades and flakes, and two cores. Also a moderate amount of midden material.
