Full Description
Lithic scatter recorded during fieldwalking in September 2020 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside project. A total of 83 worked flints were recorded, the majority in the eastern arm of the field. They include a scraper, 46 flakes, 18 blades and three cores, and also one possible stone tool. Other finds included glass slag and a piece of medieval pottery as well as much modern midden material. A possible stone structure was observed at NO 76189670.
