Full Description
Fieldwalking by S Duthie (2017) recovered a total of 12 lithics. These include a core, flakes and retouched flakes. This is one of 11 fields walked at Wester Durris as part of the Mesolithic Deeside project, the lithic scatter assemblage from these dominated by elements suggesting Late Neolithic and Bronze Age activity. Further fieldwalking in January 2022 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside Project recovered a further six flint lithics: two cores, one retouched tool, and three chunks.
