Full Description
Scatter of lithics recorded by fieldwalking carried out in January 2020 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside project. A total of 11 pieces of worked flint were recovered, including two blades, five flakes and a core. Other finds included two burnt flints, small fragments of glazed ceramic, glass, larger pieces of Seaton type ceramic, lead button and a glass gaming counter. The mix of flake and blade working across this area indicates activity from the Late Mesolithic to Late Neolithic.
