Full Description

Lithic scatter recorded by fieldwalking carried out in January 2020 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside project. A total of 19 worked flints recovered, including two cores, two blades, eight flakes, and a bifacially reworked polished flake. A lead spindle whorl and a burnt flint were also found. The mix of flake and blade working across this area indicates activity from the Late Mesolithic to Late Neolithic.
