Full Description
Lithic scatter recorded by fieldwalking carried out in April 2018 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside project. It includes at least one core, blades and flakes and is a continuation of the scatter in the fields to the west (NO79NE0021). Geophysical, topographical and aerial survey had been carried out in 2017 to provide background information about the site. A total of 45 lithics were recorded, mainly from the western (higher) part of the field. They include a relatively high percentage of blades to flakes and other indicators of Mesolithic activity.
