Full Description
Bronze tripod pot, capacity half a gallon. It was found at 'Spital Croft, a reputed seat of the Knights Templars, lying to the southeast of the church'. Jervise (1861) described it as 'similar in form to the old-fashioned broth or kail-pots of Scotland, having three feet to rest on and two ears for fixing the bow or handles to'. Now at the House of Durris.
