Full Description

Bronze axe of the type Middle Bronze Age flanged axe (Class II), 136 mm by 66 mm found in a bog at a depth of circa 2 m. Arnhall Moss was drained in 1818. The axe was noted in the museum accession register as being donated in 1838.
