Full Description
A sunken canoe full of stones was observed on the loch bottom about 27m southeast of the crannog NO49NW0012 in 1875. In May 1962, divers from the Aberdeen Sub Aqua Club located the canoe. Only part survived, 3.65m long, being a portion of an oak dug-out with the stern pierced by a worn 76mm diameter hole. The canoe was returned to the loch.
