Full Description
Fieldwalking in 1992, primarily to assess distribution of prehistoric flint scatters, recorded a single flint from this field. Fieldwalking in March 2020 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside Project recorded a further six worked flints, including a barbed and tanged arrowhead, two flakes, a blade and a core. The arrowhead was in very fresh condition suggesting it had been carefully buried. It is of Green Low type, unusual for Scotland.
