Full Description
Two stone axes, of greenish claystone, both found 'at Fithie', exact findspot unknown. They are believed to have come from the field centred at NO 6300 5443. (Information from F. A. Ferguson to OS, January 1954). The dimensions of the first axe are 6.67 cm x 4.13 cm and the second 6.99 cm x 5.72 cm. Both are in Montrose Museum.
