Full Description
Farmstead depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition map shows a quadrangular steading open at the northeast corner, and enclosure to the northwest. By the 2nd edition map a horse-mill had been added on the west side of the steading. The horse-mil has since been removed. Site visit in August 2021 as part of a walkover survey by AOC ahead of a proposed wind farm (NJ15SE0068). The east range is the dwelling, no longer in use. Stone and mortar built with all buildings roofed in slate.
