Full Description
An anvil stone was found in this area in 1988. It is a sub-rectangular block of sandstone with, on each end, three or four pecked out hollows. A great quantity of flint flakes were found in the vicinity, some of which can be seen when the field is ploughed. It now stands at the farmhouse door.
