Full Description
Three bronze axes, probably found separately, which formed part of the collection of J Rae, Aberdeen, which was sold in 1892 at Dowell's, Edinburgh. The smallest may be the type B axe now in the Hunterian Museum, which came from the Rae collection, but which was sent for display at the Scottish National Exhibition in 1911, by W M Bruce. Sizes 79mm by 76mm, 146mm by 76mm, 146mm by 79mm.
