Full Description

Remains of longhouse. A north-south oriented longhouse barely visible under heather cover. The walls survive to a height of three courses at best. A partition wall was noted 5m from the south wall. A steep scarp just to the east of building runs down to the river valley. Also recorded during walkover survey carried out by Liz Jones in June - July 2024 ahead of proposed woodland creation (NJ15SE0079). It was largely heather covered, with some stones visible at the north end and broom bushes growing inside,
