Full Description

Part of the old drove road from Strath Spey to the Lossie valley. Field survey of the site was carried out in 2011 by CFA as part of the proposed programme of works associated with the extension to Rothes Wind Farm. The track is circa 3.25m in width and has a circa 3m wide by circa 1.8m high bank to one side which suggested the track has been improved at some point after the depiction on the 1st edition OS map, possibly as a result of forestry activity. The field survey also noted modern underground service accesses at the road's edge.
