Full Description
Pennanular brooch, of Post-Roman date probably 8th/9th-century, found between Abergeldie and Birkhall (NO28 95 - NO34 93). It is 101mm in diameter with expanding ends. In 1890 it was described as being found at 'Marchstone' and in 1920 as being found while digging a hole for a marchstone.
